Well… Pakistan! My neighbours that are much closer than Maharashtra, Andhra and many other states in India. I was always under the impression that people from Pakistan would be different in everything but for the first time I got the opportunity to visit Pakistan was through Kartarpur Corridor- And I never felt as if I was in  another country. I felt as if I was in any other city of Punjab. The food and the people were awesome. I met a friend there at Kartarpur. His name was Shakeel. He is an average guy with a happy smile, we could easily communicate in Hindustani and now even after two years we are very good friends. We talk on WhatsApp at times, his wife (to whom I call bhabhi ji) is also welcoming towards our friendship. I feel if borders open often, the culture Punjab misses can be regained. Long live Indo-Pak friendship!
