Uniting

The river winds down the land, but the bridge between is obscured still,
The shrubs grow in the undergrowth, but tangled roots are unseen until;
Sweet cherries bloom seeking the light, enjoyed by all who cross it,
They come bearing their hidden truths, letting the ties be gently knit;
For Nature loves to take the gaps and see them fill

There soon was a common ground, connected in spirit- heart to heart,
The shrubs still laden with gifts now thriving, their roots never meant to part;
Cherries and fruits all greet as the day breaks, sharing stories of travel,
A firmer hope now planted deep within, but many more left to unravel;
Keep strong for path to peace, we are now just at the start
