Idara was at the bar, drinking away the humiliation of being sent out of her best friend’s wedding, when someone tapped her on the shoulder. She glared, turning only to find her best friend looking down at her with tears in her eyes. She was devastated.

As she wanted to speak, Nala shushed her and started.

“You have been there for me for the most crucial parts of my life, and I know that you won’t let me down here. First off, I want to apologize for my aunt. She was unnecessarily mean, but I wanted to tell you that it was the necklace you wore that caused the ruckus.”

“The necklace?” Idara muttered with a confused look on her face.

“Yes. The colors on a Zulu necklace are very important. The necklace you wore was yellow, red and black; it implied that you wished doom for the marriage. I am so sorry I let you walk out of there without explaining, but I was scared, and confused…”
