From Darkness to Light
I opened my eyes, catching my head due to pain while sitting up from the ground and told myself: “How dark the sky is!” Then I stood up, and while walking through the street, suddenly I bumped into someone. A man dressed all in black. “I’m sorry!” “It’s ok, get up,” he said while helping me. Before I could thank him, he said: “Always be careful, Maggie, don’t you remember what happened to you?” I was surprised by the fact that this stranger knew my name. While walking parallel with him, suddenly my headache worsened and seeing this, the stranger said, “I know migraines are quite common for you, and now it will worsen because of your injuries caused by the accident”. I was surprised and shocked to realize that he knew every detail of mine, and also of my terrible accident while going to school. So I said to him: “Who are you? How do you know me?” He smiled, and said: “I’m the one who has been seeing you and studying all your details from the moment I saw you here. After your accident, you suddenly arrived at this place, and you don’t belong here.” Saying this, he stood up and asked me to follow him. I did as he said and saw a tunnel at the end of the road. “Pass this tunnel, and you will be on your right path,” saying this he smiled and left to nowhere. I ran into the tunnel and suddenly saw a bright light, only to realize that this brightness was due to the light of the day falling on my open eyes, reminding me that I finally woke up from my coma after so many days.
