Look At Me

I used to be human friendly and used to help them live comfortable and luxurious lives. I provide them with food, water, wood and pure air to breathe which are common but most essential things for life, without which a life can’t be nurtured. My residents helped me  thrive. I used to enjoy life with my residents, who are like a family to me.

But every happiness is short-lived.

I forgot that human beings are like parasites. They can only damage others and themselves.

They only know greed and lust over things that give them power. Other than that, they don’t care about anything or anyone. They destroy me through mining, intentional fire and deforestation, which not only caused the worst and alarming climate change, but due to human’s greed, many rare and unique residents of mine died or were left in few numbers before they withered in front of me, because of humans who killed them for fun, and to take their valuable body parts for the sake of money. Heartless people used these things to even make luxury items.

Human beings are destroying Mother Nature, slowly but surely.

Look at me. I’m the Forest.
