My village, my world

The world is full of colorful countries and cities. Each country has its own way of life, and it is this way of life that sets it apart from other countries. Such is the country with a green and white flag, which was liberated on August 14, 1947. Its name is Pakistan. It is known as “land of pure people”. Its snow-capped mountains, great swaying fields, and the livelihoods of the youth is enviable. It has many important cities. But I’ll talk about a small village in the food city of Gujranwala. Where so many ears of wheat fall in the sun, it does not seem worth seeing. When sunflowers are in the air, it feels like a message to forget all that, and be happy. In this small village you have corn bread with butter and greens and its fragrance shines in the dead hearts. When children celebrate Independence Day by holding green and white flags, nothing looks more beautiful than that. Walnut halwa made at festivals and the flickering candles around the huts make this village wonderful. And when the little girls are swinging, wearing their flower crowns, it looks like it’s a fairyland.
